Self-styled ‘wizard-pop’ outfit Dewin from the magical Preseli Hills blend jazz, folk, disco, and whimsy to create their own unique sound. Drawing comparisons to Welsh greats Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci and Race Horses the band have received much praise in short time. Described by BBC Introducing’r Adam Walton as “hugely inspiring and imaginative” and with a “certain eccentricity but beautifully and so musically realised”, Dewin’s energetic live performances and narrative-driven songs are at the cutting edge of a new wave of Welsh music.
