Betsan

Betsan is a bilingual independent artist from Cardiff. She began writing at 15 years old and started performing open mics and acoustic gigs around South Wales after lockdown. Since moving to London she’s been gigging regularly with her band, and is extremely passionate about cultivating musical connections between London and Wales.

Her first Welsh-language single ‘Awst’ was released in November last year and was featured on the BBC Radio Wales Welsh A-List as ‘Track of the Week’ in early 2026. Betsan’s most recent gigs were at Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff, supporting Ben Ellis and the Ned, London for ‘New Music Monday’ hosted by BBC Radio 1 presenter Jodie Bryan.
