Bol Buwch

Following the release of his psychogeographic road trip album Dywyll Fel…, Bol Buwch, the intrepid Welsh jazz outsider, continues his journey with a new work debuting at the Boia Festival. 

Tyddewi: Gorffennol, Presennol, Dyfodol is an audio triptych exploring St Davids through time, rather than space. Composed for the festival it capitalises on the uncompromising Saxophone/Drums duo format, with drummer Sam St Leger (Venom Seeds/Monkey Island/Gyrant Mode), for this rare live performance.

Using Bol Buwch’s usual lexicon of angular off kilter improvisation partnered with evocative melodies, the inaugural performance is sure to be something unlikely to be forgotten, for better or worse.
