Ivan Moult crafts music that sits gently between the introspective soul of 1970s folk-blues and the raw intimacy of modern confessional songwriting. Drawing comparisons to artists like Tim Hardin, John Martyn and Damien Rice, his sound is both timeless and deeply personal.

Following his Welsh Music Prize shortisted album Songs From Severn Grove in 2023, Moult returns with his fourth album – Stood Out In The Storm – on November 7th 2025. Continuing his exploration of production, the album finds him navigating themes of resilience, solitude and vulnerable reflection with an expansive and multi-layered sound. It’s a bold and introspective collection that both develops his unique sound and songwriting, whilst retaining the warmth and nuance that have defined his work to date.
