Kynsy
Kynsy, the stage name of singer songwriter Caira Lindsey, whose hook filled noughties-tastic indie rock has already seen her tipped by all the right people.
Originally from Dublin but now based in London, Kynsy first came to the attention of the music press with her debut EP ’Things That Don’t Exist’ and most notably the song ‘Happiness Isn’t a Fixed State’ which sounded like a lost track from The Strokes first LP and let the NME to herald it as ‘a masterclass of channeling angst into disarming indie for a new generation’.
Currently signed to Nice Swan Records (English Teacher / Sprints), Kynsy’s subsequent singles have demonstrated a poppier side to her songwriting and led to her being championed by everyone from Radio 1 to the Irish Times.
